| Home of Comfort: |
How it began: We are having 24 churches, in coastal area, we have been conducting CBC(children’s bible clubs) and gospel conventions every year. The end of the CBC,as I began to leave, all the children gathered around to say goodbye. I learned that these boys and girls, from age’s 3 years old and up, were from the streets and garbage dumps. Some had been just wandering around not sure of where to go or how to survive.
Why were these things on the minds of young children? These are questions I have found in many parts of these coastal areas, in India with those that have lost loved ones or have been separated from family members. But these little ones have not been put out because it was their choice or that they wanted their freedom. This was a decision forced on them because of their surroundings..
In that same group of children one little girl looked up into my eyes and spoke to me in a whisper. She repeated words I would never forget, “She is asking if you would be like her father.” With tears in all our eyes, I jump at the chance to become involved. What a wonderful opportunity!
While I have traveled to these remote areas, I see many faces asking the same question, “Who will be a father or mother to me?” You today can help HOME OF COMFORT answer that through your giving; you can reach the cry of the many orphans now asking that question.
Will you help us to reach out to those that are suffering from lack of food and resources and bring hope to children across these coastal? For this reason HOME OF COMFORT is mobilized and ready to bring a solution with great impact. We want to continue to reach into areas where the needs are the greatest.
In joining Home of Comfort you are helping to build an extended part of your family. You are rescuing children and making it possible for them to be cared for and building their future together.
Even they do not have the proper mats and clothes.
Will you become a Home of Comfort family member? One that cares for the needs of others? One that takes action for those reaching out? One that is part of a family that is growing every day as we embrace the lost and needy children that are wondering what will become of me?
Will you help Home of Comfort; respond to the question, “Will you be like a father or mother to me?” Please respond to the call today.
Thank you for your participation in this life-giving project. Comforting the Needy, Together

| Widows & aged Care: |
"......as you did to one of the least...you did it to me," - Jesus.
There are more than24 villages, that come under the care of the ministry, in which there are many old people, rejected by the loved ones, on whom they had their hope for the future. Their physical weakness, poverty and depression due to rejection, really breaks our hearts. In India we constantly come across many handicapped people, with polio, leprosy, blindness, mentally handicapped and amputated people begging on the streets of India.
We are 46 widows, 34 old aged being helped and cared. Few of them stay along with the kids in the Orphanage. We praise God for the help we are rendering to the cause of these old aged and poor widows through various projects. |

Your prayers can have the great hope in their living….,….,
James 1:27 tells us, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." Galatians 2:10 encourages us to "remember the poor." In Matthew 19:14, Jesus declared, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." In Acts 10:4 and 10:31, God blessed Cornelius and stated, "Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God."
Should we help the poor? Absolutely! Is there a special place in God's heart for children? There is no doubt! Does God bless those who make sacrifices on behalf of the poor? Yes, He does!
Comfort Ministries strongly believes that sponsoring a child is an excellent way for a Christian to fulfill these Scriptures. Pray, asking God for wisdom as to whether He would have you sponsor a child. This is highest quality and integrity.

| Vocational training Income Generation Programs |
The inhumanity of poverty is becoming more known in the world day by day. The basic reality in most of Asian homes is that even though the economic conditions are deplorable,
Training in tailoring, detergent making, and other types of needlework allows these women to work at home.
Coastal bet has the agriculture it has the labour work for only 4 months a year seasonally.
Rest of the they struggle for the labor work and they will go another region to find the labour work for their daily bread. All time not allowing catching the fishes.
So we have started the vocational training for men and women in various fields.Sewing center, embrodary, candles making, rickshaws, buffallloes, fishing nets. |

| Wendy sewing center: |
Women are not allowed to work outside the home. The traditional cultural practices keep women homebound, with no means of earning an income. And some women in villages would not have opportunities of employment even if they wanted to work. So this program is designed to help equip such women with skills with which they can work from home and support and feed their children. Tailoring/Skill Training Programs: Income generating program designed for women an initiative to improve the economic status of the society
For the last one and half year we have been running Wendy Sewing Centre to enable the village youth as a part of the income generation project which intern enables the youth to financially be able to help them selves. So far we have trained 124 women were trained the same. This group consists of people from various cultural, caste, and religious background like Muslim, Brahmins (Hindu Orthodox people), and various others. This project also has given us an ample opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ to them. As a result many had a chance to listen about Jesus Christ. We hope and pray that some day the seed we planted will bear fruits in their hearts. |
 |
We are looking up to the lord for the helping hands to comforting the the needy by starting the income generating projects to see the smiles and courage on their face that they can stand on their own feet.
Gratitude: We are so much thankful Miss. Wendy for her generous, thoughtful and timely help for the project. |
| Jesus Wells: |
Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst" (John 4:13-14).
Every church needs well at the churc so that people from the neighbour come draw the water. The believers were not even allowed to draw water from the public well. This was an enormous hardship for the Christians, especially the women, during the hot summer months. They had to walk long distances to get water and carry the heavy pots home on their heads. if we invite others to draw water from our well .those who are hearden hearted will be changes day by and they will come to Jesus. and it can great impact on villagers to have relation ship with our church and we share the Gospel with those who formerly refused to listen.
This gift of clean water greatly improves people's health, contributes to the development of their communities and opens their hearts to the love of God.
And because we place the wells near our churches and Bridge of Hope centers, our missionaries are readily available to share the Gospel with those who come.
It will not only bless the people with clean, safe water, but will also provide a powerful testimony that daily points them to Jesus, the Savior of the world.
As you pray, consider this: Jesus promised a reward to those who give a cup of water to one of His followers (Mark 9:41). |

| Safe drinking water project: for Gundu Palem: |
Access to safe drinking water in Gundu Palem and surrounding is at critically low levels.
People do their laundry and bathe in the same places that they water their animals and get their drinking water.
Latrines are virtually non-existent in rural communities with defecation taking place in fields, bushes or along drainage ditches. A simple long-drop latrine can radically reduce the amount of fecal matter that gets into the water supply.
Increasingly, comfort is funding multi-purpose water projects that include components such as: protected faucets for drinking water; showers; latrines; basins for washing clothes, dishes and utensils; and, separate drinking troughs for animals. Beyond the issues of health, poor access to clean water also has a detrimental impact on development. In particular, water scarcity severely affects the lives of women as female family members are traditionally responsible for water collection. |
 |
Collecting water is a back-breaking chore that saps women’s energy, diminishes their health and restricts their involvement in productive activities and community affairs.
Most women in our ministerial areas spend hours a day collecting water from distant and polluted sources. Many girls never get an opportunity to go to school because the responsibility of collecting enough water to keep their families alive takes precedence.
Eighty percent of all illness in developing coastal area is caused by polluted water. It is very dangerous and many people die from these illnesses every year.
Serious illnesses transmitted via polluted drinking water include:
· Cholera, an extremely infectious and deadly intestinal disease
· Typhoid fever, caused by the production of toxins by salmonella bacteria
· Hepatitis A, an infection of the liver resulting in jaundice
· Dysentery, an acute intestinal disease often resulting in death
